The Directorate organises exhibition to promote Waffer in Kalba

The event is part of the promotional Programme organised by the Directorate, first at its head office in Layyah and subsequently at a number of authorities and institutions across the Emirate. The aim is to introduce to the employees the services and discounts provided through Waffer Programme in the different sectors. The event was inaugurated in the presence of Abdullah Salem Al Mashwi, Director of the Directorate of Human Resources, Eng. Khalfan Al Dhabahi, Director of Kalba Municipality, Abdullah Ali, Director of Islamic Affairs in Kalba, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Director of Branches Affairs at the Directorate of Human Resources, Dalal Al Mansouri, Director of Kalba Birds of Prey Centre, Gawaher Saif Al Ode, Director of Events and Community Activities at the Directorate and Head of Waffer Programme, Ibrahim Sanan, Representative of Economic Development in Kalba, and Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, Head of Development and Follow-Up at the Directorate, as well as a host of officers and employees from the different departments and authorities in Kalba City and the Directorate of Human Resources. The attendance visited the platforms of the participants that offered special discounts and gifts designed specifically for this occasion and presented the services and discounts available to Sharjah government employees holding labour cards and their family members. The exhibition saw the participation of a number of private companies on board Waffer Programme, namely Al Tayer Motors, Waldorf Astoria RAK, Al Ufuq University, the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre BMW, Oceanic Hotel, Shabab Al Youm Tailoring, Sharjah Airport Travel Agency “SATA”, Pizzaro Ristorante, Al Enwan Hotels, Al Shamel Trading, Sheraton Hotel and Resort Sharjah, Copthorne Hotel Sharjah and Sunny Medical Centre. Waffer pursues its achievements in line with its strategic plan to offer special and exclusive incentives and services to Sharjah government employees that ensure their happiness, encourage them to raise their productivity and create a motivating work environment for them. Such an initiative reflects the Directorate’s keenness to provide the best services to its employees in all areas of their lives, which reflects positively on increasing job competence and encouraging the workforce to continue giving their best in their jobs. The aim of this participation is to inform the government employees of the privileges, offers and discounts available through Waffer by organising exhibitions for the companies on board Waffer across the Sharjah government departments all year long and answering the employees’ inquiries in this regard. Abdullah Salem Al Mashwi noted the Programme’s remarkable success which is evident in the increasing number of participants that are keen to fulfil their social responsibility, contribute to promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors and achieve social development. Al Mashwi thanked all the entities taking part in Waffer since its inception, which have proven to be a key partner in the success of the Programme as active elements in the social and economic development system. He highlighted the importance of organising such events that serve the government employees, contribute to their happiness and motivation, raise their competence and productivity and create a motivating work environment for them. On her part, Jawaher Al Ode said that through this series of promotional events, the Directorate seeks to inform the Sharjah government employees of the services provided by Waffer, the participating companies and the offers they can avail of so that they can make effective use of the Programme
